Management Roundtable is proud to announce the second annual call for nominations for the 2006 Product Development and R&D MVP Awards.
This award was established in 2005 to honor individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and made significant contributions in advancing the field of product development and R&D performance measurement. The awards are expressly for industry practitioners who have implemented new methods, improved processes, achieved results and openly shared knowledge with others.

Nominees must be US-based practitioners in the field of R&D or product development who meet the following award criteria:

  1. Applied new concepts, methods and models for measurement to raise R&D productivity and performance.

  2. Led metrics implementation and process improvement efforts across teams, functions, and/or geographies.

  3. Shared knowledge about key practices, metrics, and results both inside and outside their organization

  4. Demonstrated long-term commitment to continuous, reciprocal learning

Four Finalists will be selected and recognized; from these finalists, one overall winner will be chosen based on his/her accomplishments in any or all of these dimensions. The overall winner is selected by an independent panel of judges and Management Roundtable.

We are pleased to honor this dedicated and talented individual at Management Roundtable's 11th Annual Conference on Product Development Metrics: Assess, Predict and Foster Innovation, to be held in Chicago on November 6-8, 2006. The winner’s contribution will also be acknowledged to his/her senior management and the national press to underscore the importance and value of R&D and product development.
