Protecting Your IP - Strategy and PlanningIP is one of the most valuable assets a firm may possess, but it is often
not well understood or protected. Although IP laws are always subject to change, and may
be affected by case decisions, IP maintains much conceptual stability that allows a
company to implement protection plans. An IP protection plan begins well before choosing a
partner, and you must have a fundamental understanding of IP protection mechanisms and
have a plan in place before the first meeting with a potential outsourcing partner.
This presentation will provide an overview of available IP protections, and provide
strategies for protecting your IP during the invention process, before you ink a deal. |
